hey there!
i recently stumbled upon the sweet shoppe when i was searching for juliana kneipp designs and took a brave look at the forum and thought: this looks like a sweet community fitting the sweet shoppe :-)

then i found the challenges pdf and rubbed my eyes again and again. so much wonderful stuff and tons of inspiration! this is unique on the web. you really got a thing going here. and i like it :-)

now something about me...
i am 40 years old, married to a cool guy (no, he really isn't cool. he is wonderful), living in germany near frankfurt. we both love our sweetie dog and two cutie cats (hm. one cute, the other... different).

scrapbooking came into my life in summer 2011 when i wanted to design a special book in advance to my brothers wedding. unfortunately i was carving my bachelor at university at the same time ;-). when i began putting pages together i found a new love and am still learning, enjoying, scrapping the nights away.

with the beginning of the new year i started two new projects. one is pl 2013 and the other art journaling. i only made 5 aj pages up to now but i find it incredibly liberating.

other hobbies: photography, sewing, little hybrid, music, meditation (does this count as a hobby?), trying new things, learning.

I am starting into PL and art journaling more this year too, so I know how it is exciting it is to take on new stuff like that. You will find lots of resources here for your new projects :)

Welcome! So glad you found us. You're in great company. I too am 41 and thought I've been digiscrapping for years, I JUST started art journaling (like last week). I LOVE Frankfurt! I lived in Darmstadt for 5 years and then in Wiesbaden for 2 years. We miss Germany. Loved going to the English Theater in Frankfurt. Make yourself comfy here and just ask if you have questions. Everyone here is so helpful!

Thank you, Darcy! I uploaded a new piece to the gallery yesterday. I won't be uploading the other ones as they don't have ssd products in them. Never mind, i will do some more with my new stash and upload it here :-)

Hey Laura! So we have been real life neighbors for 2 years! I am living town center Wiesbaden.
 
Oh you will LOVE it here! You are right, it is the sweetest place on the internet for sure! :) Sounds like you will fit right in! Please feel free to make yourself at home and ask any questions you have. Everyone is always willing to help or lead you to a product you may want. All you have to do is ask! Another great thing is the tutorial section of this site. You will find some very helpful tricks and learn new things along the way!
