Netflix Instant Watch

So I finally joined Netflix!

But the 2 times I tried to do the Instant Watch on my laptop, my laptop completely shut down in the middle of the show (The office, season 2, The Injury).

I'm hoping that it's a Netflix issue and not my laptop crapping out.

I use Vista on the laptop. On our XP desktop I had no problem watching . . .

Anyone else have a problem with Instant Watch?

I don't in IE, but i do in firefox

Nope. I watched all 3 seasons of The Office on Instant Watch just the other day. I had to use my IE tab in Firefox though.
Other than that, no probs at all.

hmm, I am using IE. maybe I'll try it in FF.

i should be getting my DVDs tomorrow. can't wait. well 2 for the kids, 1 for me.

Maybe you need to update your IE. When I tried to view a movie in FF, it said to use IE.

I just started using Netflix Instant as well and have to use IE, but it's worked fine.

sniff sniiff . . . maybe my dear old lappie is having issues.

I just tried in Firefox with the IE Tab. was working fine for like an hour and then bam! i'm shut down. i wonder if it could be making my laptop overheat?

I have a dusty old dell (5 yrs old) and windows xp. Once I downloaded the netflix player add on whatever, it works fine for me. I don't have a laptop so I'm no good with help. I hope you get it working soon
