we have a "furniture placement" lady coming this afternoon to help us with the living room and dining room. this is the first time ever that i have dealt with anyone like this. she seems really really nice and i hope she can help us. we have been living in this house since january and we are still not feeling at home in here. the bedrooms are good but the the living room (where we spend the most time) and the dining room just aren't coming together so aaron surprised me by having her come. part of my anniversary present (the other part was going to see dani last month :) ) anyway i am frantically cleaning bc i had no clue she was coming and she just called an hour ago to tell me she would be here around 1. EEEKS!!!! anyone ever had someone come and help them??
 
ITA with Lizzy, keep an open mind!! Some things may seem odd at first but once it is all in place it is just fantastic!!!
 
oh that sounds cool! home she can make your home feel homier :).

I need this kind of help, sigh.
 
That's really cool!! Hope she can help you!! How sweet of your DH. At least she called and didn't just show up. I would die if someone like that just showed up. LOL
 
That is so cool....I only see that stuff on HGTV and it is really neat....ITA w/ everyone else...keep an open mind!!!! I have changed my room around about 10 times in 10 years so I hope she can help you!!!!
 
she just left and i really like what she suggested. i was on the right track we just need a couple more peices to finish off what i had started and some accessories. we are getting a bookcase, sofa table, possibly another longer type bookcase for the living room and in the dining room a long buffett type table. also i need to change the curtains and come up with some cornice boxes or some pleated valances. we will be good to go then :)
