So, I'm window-shopping on Walmart.com as I usually spend my spare time (this evening's theme is organization... container store is too pricey don't even mention it :p)... anyways, I came across this:




Now maybe I'm just not in the loop (I keep my spices in their sexy McCormick containers... rawr, yeah... contain your awe) but I've never seen this... and the nerd in me MUST have them! :D Then I'll need a "Periodic Table of SPICES! :thumbup:

P.s. Cooking Gurus... explain the reasoning, wouldya? Besides cool factor. ETA: Nevermind... "one hand use"
 
OK, now...see...I would buy that, toss the spices (or put them in other containers, lol) and then use the tubes and rack for something totally cute in my office...like holding gerbera daisies or maybe some button bouquets or something....
 
I think I need those too. No, I know I need those. Most of my spices are sitting in their Penzey's jars...but that would look hot on my counter. Yes, yes it would.
 
you can buy *good* spices (ie not the ones in the little plastic jars lol) and a lot of the time they come loose like in lil baggies. tres annoying. containers like those would be nice.

Fo sho. The Farmer's Market is the only place I find GOOD spices that I can afford and those are always in baggies. I like to buy parsley and then let it slip out of my pocket as I walk by police officers. Gotta keep them on their toes, dontchaknow...

Those are too fun! Love the glitter idea but I was thinking beads or small buttons and I bet I could find lots of other little things in my scraproom to put in them.

Totally scraproom worthy :) My first thought was buttons! Lol!

That would be awesome for my kitchen though too.
 
Ok, those are cool looking...and I totally want them...but, how much spice does it really hold? I mean, I like to spice things...a lot...would I have to refill my garlic powder one every time I use it?

I do like the idea of them for glitter though....

Yeah baby (totally jealous of penzey's, too LOL). But if I had the counter space, this would be totally hot (foodie hot).
