i'm glad you let some of this off your chest! we are here! ((HUGS!!!)) how hard for you...feeling helpless while DH is away and i cannot imagine the agony he is feeling too. wow! tough stuff! your family is in my prayers! ((MORE HUGS!!))

I know it's hard to deal with all this on your own (I'm a military spouse too) but maybe him not being home is a blessing in disguise? Hopefully, FIL will get better and DH will have avoided all the worry all together. It sucks that it's all on your shoulders though. TONS of P&PTs for you and your family.

And I have some good news! I just heard that FIL is off the vent! He's still in ICU, but I'm really encouraged by this news!
 
oh so sorry you and DH are facing this. Hugs and prayers on their way that your FIL recovers and that you have a stress free time....
