Hey chicklets :) I was wondering if some of you can suggest a good anti virus program for my computer, this one is going to expire soon and honestly I HATE it lol (I use symantec) , I've gotten soooo many virus' and am tired of fixing my computer all the time.
Thanks so much for the advice!

We have been using Panda Antivirus now for... how many years? 8 I think. I discovered it when I was an apprentice in an IT business where they used the business version. We haven't had any major virus problems since, we set it up to update as soon as we are online. We have been more than happy with this program, it is well worth it!

I'd be using Trend if I hadn't had a chance to get the pay version of AVG for free. I love them both!

We use Webroot....we have it on 7 computers in our house...so we have 3 versions of it (you can put 3 computers on each license)...been extremely happy with it...and even my picky 20yo ds gamer likes it better than any brand we have used in the past because it does NOT interfere with his gaming.

We use Avast... Totally free... we have been using it for over 2 years... no problems *knock on wood*... and we have tranfered my mom's, my step-dad's, my dad's, my hubby's aunt, my FIL... the list goes on and on... :)

Thanks so much for your help everyone, will def. look into those on payday. Today I did a scan with a million different programs and ended up removing over 250 infected files!! I have no idea where it came from either, wasn't too pleased but am glad that they are gone now!

I have Bitdefender and love it. It has multi-computer licenses with it too! Haven't had a problem with it yet and I've had it since Jan!!!

I use AVG too and have had no issues on any of my computers - love it and well since it is free that is always a bonus! :) Was recommended a while back in a computer magazine I was reading.
