Ok, so I read the Twilight series, I read the Sookie Stackhouse books...I need more Vampires!! Know of any other books? (I am OBSESSED with them now!!)

Not about Vampires, but I LOVE the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. It's about animals, and they all talk, but in different languages. So when I read them, they all had different accents, lol. I love it, it was super imaginative. There are a TON of books in the series, so it'll take a good while to get through them. :p Try and read them in order though, they're way better that way.
 
Let's see..... here are the ones I read and can't get enough of....

Laurell K Hamilton has Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series

Tate Hallaway has 3 books, 4th is forthcoming (I've read the first 2 and have the third hidden away for Christmas for myself, lol)

MaryJanice Davidson has a Vampire Queen series that I'm working my way through and am loving for light vampire fluff reading (LOL)

If anyone's wondering who wrote the Sookie Stackhouse books mentioned, that's Charlaine Harris

Then you might also like books by Kim Harrison - Rachel Morgan series about a witch battling demons and other nefarious creatures

And there's also Julie Kenner who writes about a Demon Hunting Soccer Mom

I love the Queen Betsy books by MaryJanice Davidson..they're a bit more cheesy and funny than Twilight and they have a little bit of cheesy s e x thrown in (but not much) but they're great light reads :)
 
oh Baby... YOU HAVE to read the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward!!!
I'm totally hook. I read the first 6 (yes SIX) and I can hardly waith for the 7th in May

I like the teen ones by PC Cast - the marked series - I TRIED so hard to get into the Nora Roberts series - I bought them all - just didn't like them
 
Everytime someone asks for reading suggestions I always suggest the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon.
Nobody EVER takes my suggestion and nobody ever reads them...and I'm like...WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best books ever written besides the Bible. You can quote me on that. Makes Twilight look like preschool babbling.

Im not sure if it is a vampire type book or not because I have not read it but my daughter absolutely loved Blood and Chocolate....I think it might be a series also
