I'm hosting our next ladies' book club night with friends from church and I need to pick a book. We've read The Hunger Games and The Help. Now I need a pick! Help me out. What would you suggest?

War Brides by Helen Bryan. I just started it and am finding it hard to put down. Also, I got it free from Amazon as my July book loan with my Prime membership, but you can buy it for like 2.99 I think.

Since it's a group of friends from church maybe "The Fallen" or "The Dog That Talked to God"
Both are excellent reads IMHO

The Ultimate Gift. I loved this book. It's an easy read, but it just leaves you feeling sooo good.

The Gods and Kings series by Lynn Austin had me hooked from book 1. Plus, the first book is free on Kindle. But really, it cost me $20, because I had to buy the next 4! LOL!
