Some sites are reporting that she's not brain dead she was just sedated. It's terrible regardless...I hope they weren't flying her home to die at home I read a report that said they were flying her to NYC to be with family and disconnect her from life support.

Isn't it amazing that with all the news and technology that we still don't have confirmation of if she's even brain dead or pulled off life support yet? So many conflicting stories.

I heard it while I was driving home and I just cried. It's so so sad.

supposedly there will be a statement release from the family today (it said Tuesday or Wednesday, and there was nothing yesterday).

Totally heart breaking i wonder what the true story is. Either way sad she was in any kind of accident at all. I cant imagine what her family must be dealing with right now.

Someone on another board I post at is a DR. and brought up the point if she had a life threatening brain ingury they would not had flown her anywhere because the pressure change from flying would cause further damage, so they are surmising that she was already brain dead and they were just flying the body home for her family to say their good byes.

Yes, I had heard this as well. They said they would not risk it if there was any chance of recovery due to the pressure change - especially if it's brain swelling.
