MyPicTales suspending single page prints!

Hey guys, I just got an email saying that MPT will be suspending single page prints until late January 2009. The email says that they want to get some of the bugs worked out, and expect to provide a better product by then. Hopefully this will give them time to work out kinks...only time will tell.
 
I think the damage to their rep is already done. They should have had the bugs worked out BEFORE they started offering up their product IMO.
 
I won't ever use them either. Too many disappointed customers already... They should have stopped taking orders as soon as they knew there were problems which should have been some time ago.
 
I think they probably wouldn't have had anywhere near as many problems if they hadn't offered that crazy promotion right away. I have a feeling the volume of layouts they received just overwhelmed them.

I've always been extremely happy with my prints from Scrapbookpictures so I never had any intention to try this place out but I do hope the time off gives them a chance to straighten things out so it won't be such a hassle for those that do choose to use them.
 
not surprised one bit. i wish they had done it sooner. i'll probably use them again for gift albums or for printing those pages i did when i first started scrapbooking. or for pages where there photos aren't the focus. i have some pages that are journaling focused and i think those will be fine there. my last order from there actually looked good. i was shocked!
 
my order looked good, too. I will not use them again, though. I think that the issues with the CS is a very big issue, and I don't know if they will be able to "fix" that. I am done, and plan on trying some of the other places you ladies have reccommended.
