my wandering eye

Nearly every guy I dated was tall (6'2" or taller), skinny, but not too lanky, and handsome. That is totally my hubby. I am still wildly attracted to him. I married a total hottie.

I used to date blue-eyed bad boys. Yup, now that I think back, they were almost all blue eyed, almost all were bad boys. Most were not very much taller than me.

I married a bad boy (at least back in the day he was), but he is tall (6 feet) and brown eyed.

I work at a Military fitness centre, and get my fill of eye candy on a daily basis when I work - and go figure, the ones that make me feel flustered when I see them - blue eyed! lol I really do have a thing for blue eyes!

So... the longer I am married I love guys who end up looking like my husband - Short Irishey guys - Mark Wahlberg - Matt Damon - same type as Jay

I dated the bad boys, even married two (divorced them as well). Hair, eyes and complextion never mattered at all but they had to be tall, at least 6 ft, and fit...not too bulky, but definitely not skinny ( I dated a couple of short and skinnys but not my thing). Now I'm married to a 5'8" nerd who is almost 7 years my junior. How the heck did that happen? Oh well, at least he isn't skinny. ;)

In all seriousness, though, we are pretty well matched with faith, interests and intellect with just enough differences to make it interesting.

I had such a specific well-known type that my college roomies used to embarrass me by pointing out 'my type' (loudly!) whenever we went somewhere i.e. 'Oh, I bet you think HE is hot!' 'Whoa, chica! Look over there! Your kind of man!' etc etc etc.

My ex did not fit the bill AT ALL. Maybe that's why he's my ex. :p

J. is mostly my type except for his (lack of) height. When your guy's only 5'7", it doesn't take much to make you feel like a big fat hoss next to him. :p

As far as celebrities go, I'm not usually attracted to the pretty ones who are all glisten-y and hairless and chiseled (like a lot in this thread --- sorry!). They just strike me as feminine and/or prepubescent. I guess I can't turn my brain off even when I'm just daydreaming. I want my real guy(s) and 'fake' guys to look like real guys vs. pretty Ken dolls.

I only mentioned what I like to look at. LIke in a room of 100 men I don't know from Adam, what sort would get a second look at from me. Has ZERO to do with their personality.

My number one personality trait is super duper smart, followed closely by an amazing sense of humor. They also have to be tall (min 5'11"), white collar, and various other traits. My husband is ridiculously sexy to me despite not LOOKING like my type. We joke about the type thing a lot though. He know's he's my number one even if he's not pretty enough to be Tom Welling's butt mole.

just to clarify... :o

Ditto. This is just what I like to look at and what "presence" a guy emits that gets my attention. Some men are just fun to look at but you would really never want to make a life with them. kwim?

DEFINITELY. the one's i like to look at are definitely NOT husband material (if i were looking for that). i like the bad boys :)

Just to look at? Long, lean and muscular, but not overblown, with a killer smile. And nice hands. I can't handle a man with stubby fingers. :)
