So today I did something REALLY graceful. I fell. Doing the splits. Almost on top of my daughter.
I have hyper-extended knees (meaning I can bend them backwards...) which has never really been a problem, its just kind-of freakish. So today, I went to pick something up off the floor, my socks slipped on the smooth floor, and my leg kinked, my knee went backwards and I fell forward. I kind of did a splits like move, where my bent-back knee went forward and my other leg went back. Of course ALL my weight was on my gimped knee. Luckily nothing popped or tore, and it didn't hurt all that bad (it wasn't unpainful, just not as bad as it could have been).
But now my leg is all tingly and feels weak. I put Japanese mint oil on my whole leg & knee & ankle right away, so I have no swelling. Just a tingling sensation (not from the mint... that tingle went away awhile ago)....
I hope I didn't damage anything! I might just go watch some movies for the rest of the day. Dh was there when I did it too, so he would understand if supper wasn't ready when he gets home....
