My theory on Yo Gabba Gabba

I think that the creator of this awful show must hold a real grudge against his mother for not staying at home with him while he was young, and so he is taking out his frustrations on all the stay ah home moms in the world.

As he sat alone in his room as a child with no mother there to lead him towards good deeds, his creative brain festered and oozed until he came up with the ultimate plan of revenge.

I WILL CREATE THE WORST AND MOST ANNOYING SHOW IN ALL OF CARTOON HISTORY ALL WHILE CASTING A SPELL OVER CHILDREN SO THEY WILL WANT TO WATCH IT. HAHAHAHA

This show makes me want to dig into my ears and pull out my ear drums while at the same time gauging my eyes out with spoons so that I don't have to see those ridiculous looking monsters waving their arms around in slow motion.

we do not watch Yo Gabba Gabba in our house. House Rules. I am bigger than my kids, and I control the remote!
I'm with ya. :)

There's a party in my tummy - oh yeah - oh yeah

STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL>...............

We love muno. And robie. And even sometimes flex. :p

My girls were into that show for a while...we had all the episodes recorded so they could watch it whenever they wanted to, but after a while they stopped watching them so I deleted the timer so it wouldn't record anymore. I liked the show though. :)

omg that show is sooo freaky. I watched an episode to preview it before DS could watch it and I didnt make it all the way through... I had to turn it off.

I actually don't mind it *shrugs*

It has good messages like "Don't Bite Your Friends" and "Try it, you might like it"

UGH! I can't stand Yo Gabba Gabba! Pass the spoon over here!
My kids will leave it on if they happen to be flipping through the channels though.

I love love love love love love love love love love love love love LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba...way less annoying than almost everything else like Dora and Imagination Movers..

I've got to agree. Yo Gabba Gabba is SO much better than The Wiggles or Imagination Movers. DJ Lance REALLY annoys me but it really is such a good message. Heck, they helped my DD start trying more things so I'm cool with it!

I like it too!! The songs are so catchy to me...I sing along with my kids!! But I have to agree that DJ Lance is a little creepy!!! (BREAK IT DOWN!!!!)

I really don't mind the show, though I do find a lot of it annoying- but I always get a HUGE laugh out of "Don't Bite Your Friends!" and seeing Elijah Wood do the "Puppet Master" dance! LOL! My 3 yo (son) loves that show!!!

My younger two and my niece that I watch in the afternoons just love Yo Gabba Gabba! I don't mind it too much since they have some good teaching lessons on there and they have some pretty cool guest stars! I've seen the episodes with Elijah Wood, Amarri Stoudamire (sp?) and I saw there is a new episode coming on soon with Jack Black!! But I have to agree that DJ Lance is one odd duck lol!

Its not allowed in our house. Like someone said, I'm bigger so I own the remote. lol

I find the show deeply disturbing on many levels. Seriously. lol

Elle LOOOVES Gabba... :)

I dont mind it...

Muno the red bumpy one, looks like an adult toy..

I DO NOT understand the tiiiiight shiny spandex..

But, Elle really likes it, and it has a good message.. soo

Way better then Wonder Pets, UGH, how i HATE wonder pets... :glare:

I like the songs & sometimes singing the "lessons" that I tell my girls a gazillion times gets through to them. Like the manners song. And the try it song.

AND I am actually looking forward to the Jack Black episode. It looks hilarious!!

But - it must be on at weird times because we only catch it every once in a while.

eh...it's not too bad. I like the songs well enough and only the bumpy red dildo thing really weirds me out at all. But I grew up with HR Puffinstuff, Lidsville & other Sid & Marty Croft oddness, so it seems normal to me. :)

I prefer the Backyardigans out of all the kid shows but the boys are mostly growing out of all those shows & seem to want to watch Boomerang instead.

We rarely watch it. I personally think there is a LOT of the "happy weed" being passed around when the are writing the shows!!!

I don't mind it either. I prefer her to watch that over Spongebob. I did find it a bit creepy when we first came across it but I feel that way about most kids shows...LOL. DD loves the songs and likes to dance along with them.

LMAO at the "happy weed"! I think that most of these kids shows have some of that going on behind the scenes. :p

Apparently...

none of you are ex-punkrock girls.

This is created by one of the members of The Aquabats.

Who are bizarre by nature.

I big fat freakin' <3 The Aquabats.

Blues Clues was the only thing we ever watched on Nick Jr. Now that they don't play it anymore, we don't even watch the channel. :(
