for breakfast...

...and I really don't care...

I had been eating them on the couch last night watching TV and forgot they were still there this morning and before I knew it he was eating them. I just don't want the battle this morning of taking them away from him. He gave me such fits yesterday I don't want to start the day off wrong...I guess I'm picking my battles today.

I'm just so tired. He wears me OUT. I have gotten so big and movement has gotten so hard that just dealing with him wears me out.

So it's doritos for breakfast. :glare:

hahhaa... my daughter had leftover popcorn for breakfast earlier this week - it took so long to get my baby son changed, fed, changed again, then calmed down because he was screaming that I just didn't care either! Popcorn has fibre in it, right??? :P

You gotta do what you gotta do. He'll survive.

I am sure my son's teachers think I am mother of the year. EVERYDAY he eats a hog dog and chips for lunch. He won't eat anything else. What am I supposed to do?

Susan

rotfl!!! i would prolly do the same thing.

for a long time gabe ate popcorn for breakfast. i always felt guilty till one day i was watching unwrapped on the food network and popcorn was actually the FIRST breakfast CEREAL!!!!! they would pour popcorn in a bowl add some sugar and milk and wolah, cereal. then i didn't feel bad at all and let him have popcorn whenever he wanted...rotfl!

*lol* When I do something like this, I say "I am adding it to my Mother of the Year resume" This has happened to me multiple times.. Kaydan eating something he shouldn't be eating so early in the morning. Honestly though Niki, when you think about it.. so what if he eats the chips now instead of at lunch time, right? What is it really going to harm. I know exactly how you feel and a few dorritos is better than a screaming, writhing 3 yo so early in the morning!!

I did the same thing with a bag of Tostitos a couple of weeks ago. I had them out the night before, and when Rae got up, that's what she had for breakfast. Oh well!

Susan, my boy eats a buttered bread/cheese sandwich for lunch EVERYDAY. His teacher must think I'm cheap or something, and won't buy meat, but he LOVES it. Whole wheat bread, buttered with sliced cheese.

I say whatever! I think popcorn has to be better for breakfast than old greasy bacon anyway...right? LOL

lol, Lily had Sun Chips for breakfast the other day b/c that was about the only food we had.

LOL, we're eating pretzel rods and a coke for me....chocolate milk for naomi...

So I get it :p

Yeah, choose your battles. I was in your shoes a few months ago....Huge pregnant and having trouble moving...just focus on getting through the day! :)

Lukas had a strawberry milkshake and a pepperami for breakfast and I bribed him with another pepperami to avoid the melt down over him not wanting to wear his school shoes just so he would get out of the house and not be late for school lol. Guess you could always give him cereal for breakfast and call it topsy turvy day lol. Hugs Crystal xx

exactly what April said.. at least you can get your kid to eat. LOL JJ eats enough food to keep a bird barely alive, and there is nothing I can do to get him to eat. He'll eat chocolate if I give it to him but something good for him? No. He drinks constantly, and he goes through a gallon of 1% milk in 3 days, so... he's getting vitamins I guess. LOL

Yeah, my son has eaten cookies for breakfast before so I am no help. lol Sometimes its not worth the fight.

beats the dog food my 2yr old wanted to eat this am..if it's good enough for the dog I guess she thinks it's good enough for her!

yep...we do that quit a bit around here....I definetely don't shoose food battles...don't have the energy!!!!

Might as well let him start early. My 15 yo thinks that Lays Stax are a good group all their own! :w00t:
