My son has a beard and I can't decide if it's cute

You all are too sweet! yep, I think my boy is very handsome and although the beard isn't 'bad' it just really throws me. LOL... it's too hip, too mature. Where is my little boy?! We "let" him keep it during the summer but told him that he would have to shave it off for school starting. Well, school started and I didn't have him shave it off. I think it should be his choice, however I did get him a trimmer and he has to keep it neat. My hubby says nobody will date him because their parents will object.... but that is coming from my DH who is a clean-shaven ex-Marine. LOL I just don't want people to judge his character based on a beard, ya know? So, thanks for letting me know that probably isn't the case! :) I won't say anything about him shaving and just let him decide on his own.

oh, and for you moms that said your daughters won't be allowed to date... there is a saying that my son's friends joke about. "Guns don't kill people, dads of pretty girls kill people." LOL

I think it looks cute! It's not a big bushy beard so in my books it's ok. He still has a babyface though........bless!

I think it suits him too! Hes so handsome! My sister has dated some really off looking characters I think i would be OVERJOYED if she brough home a boy that looked like your son!

Hahahahaha! One of my good friends says that. He also says that if he ever has a girl, when she hits 13 he's shipping her out to live with me. Cuz otherwise he'll end up in jail over boys coming to date her, lol!!

And I totally think the girls at his school are nuts. I'd totally date him if I were younger, LOL! Why weren't there nice guys like him at my high school?

I like it...it seems like it suits him well. If I had a daughter, it would not bother me a bit!!! My (almost) 15 year old should shave but will not.....he only has the upper lip thing going right now so we will see what happens!!! I am sad watching all my kids grow up too fast but the oldest one is the hardest, he started High School today, he is as tall as me 5'7" and his feet are bigger than his Dad's.....where did the time go???

I think the beard is fine but what I'm more impressed with is how sweet he looks with the younger boy, who I'm assuming is either his younger brother or relative. Those boys looks like they have a wonderful relationship and that's rare to see with a teen boy.

It definitely suits him.

I'll admit, it would maybe make me a ton uneasy thinking about my daughter dating a guy with facial hair, but my husband has facial hair and has since we started dating when I was a very young 19. So, we probably wouldn't care unless it was really unkept.
