My Shopping Cart hates me....

I have been adding things to my shopping cart for the past week or so, bits here n there. It never fails, just as Im ready to check out, something happens around here and I have to go tend to it and plan on coming back to finish up. But, every time I come back to it, my cart is EMPTY! So yesterday I had almost 40 bucks or so in my cart, I knew I wanted to add something else and I would just finish in the morning..... fast forward to this morning, I just logged in and I added my one more thing and realized my cart is empty again. Ugh, so now I have to start all over. Why does this keep happening, any advice? Something Im doing wrong? I have been logged into my account each time I have added to the cart....
 
Are you logged on when you're entering? I've had that happen when I've returned to the store to add something, added it, and then that's the only thing now in my cart. If I remember correctly, you need to make sure you're logged in before you add anything new.

Sorry to hear that, I know how frustrating it can be!

Hi Lindsay, yep I am always logged in when adding (I learned that lesson the hard way! ugh!). This only recently started to happen to me (within the past two weeks or less..).
 
I don't have an answer for you, but boy can I sympathize! Now I use the WL for everything and only put it in the cart when I am going to have time to see the purchase through to the end. :)
 
I've heard this happening to other people, so the only thing I can think of is to either use your wishlist or maybe pintrest - that way you have a list of what you want when you're ready to buy :)
 
Thanks ladies! I shall be wish-listin then... cause this is frustrating! However, I admit I do find other goodies I haven't seen yet while re-searching for the prior shopping cart items --- this can be dangerous! LOL!!
 
This happens to me to. I use Firefox.
I now just add to my wishlist and only add it to my cart from the wishlist when I am ready to check out. Works fine that way for me.
 
I have had it happen too. I use Firefox. Since mine is usually new releases though and usually only an item or two or three it isnt to frustrating I just go back and re-add them.
 
Firefox has really REALLY bizarre cookie issues that seem to cause loads of issues here at SSD. Would any of you be willing to switch to Chrome or Safari or even IE (as a last resort) and let me know if you continue to see issues in the shoppe?
 
You know, I wonder.... this didn't start happening to me until I downloaded the new OS X, Mountain Lion. I wonder if that could have anything to do with it?
