My poor little guy

That is freakin rediculous!!! OMG, I would be so mad! I'd definately make sure he gets a little special treat. Stuff like that really crushes kids, I don't know what he was thinking, but that's unexcusable!
Hope your little guy is feeling ok!!

It's a nice clear night so Tony took out the telescope and let him stay up super late (it's almost 10 pm here now) so hopefully that will help some. I hope that little brat doesn't show up here tomorrow. I have had to ban him from the yard before, and he's getting cut off again now.

My daughter was like that when she was that age too. The little girl across the street was so mean to her. I would get so angry at this little girl and tell my daughter not to play with her or tell the little girl she needs to go home. The little girl would say things like "your dress is so ugly" or "my barbie is better then yours, yours is ugly" or "if you dont let me play with that Im going to take mine and go home" Then it escalated to her being violent with my daughter. I would tell her mom about it and she would say things like "what do you want me to do about it?" Ummmm discipline your daughter or better yet explain why it is wrong to treat a friend like that? It never happened and they eventually were not only not friends anymore but she ended up beating my daughter up pretty badly because my daughter ignored her when she was calling her names. I told her it was better to just ignore the girl and that was what happened. If he realy is that bad and is mean to your son it probably would be better to cut it off now while he is still young and try to get him involved with other children at a play group or from school or something then to risk it escalating and having your son's self-esteem suffer from having a "friend" be so abusive towards him
No kidding! I'm still ticked.

I think the problem is, there is really NO ONE else for him to play with. He knows this, so he puts up with a lot more than he should. I keep trying to tell him that he is worth being treated so much better than that, but he's 7, kwim? He just doesn't get it yet.

It might be a "blessing" ... this way neither you or your son need to give these people the time of day.
He is too young to learn the "hard" part of life ... poor dear.

That is just terrible, I truly cannot believe how rude people can be, and to a little boy????? I would def have a talk with that man ans let him know what he did was WAY WRONG!!!!!

OMG honey what a freakin beast, Im so angry for you! I think your doing the right thing by deciding to distance them too, thats just really horrible!!

Jessica wtf your poor daughter! I think I woulda beat the kids mom up LOL

Awww your poor little guy!! :( I so feel for him!! I would be pissed too. That's just rude and ignorant. I would definitely have words for the father the next time I saw him!!
