I checked out with $23 worth of stuff and if I can get it all downloaded on my sort of slow connection, I'll go back and get my other babies. Can't believe I had to leave them behind, but it's a just in case measure. LOL!. Right now I'm a kit and half in to my downloading so it's looking good for the orphans.

I ended up shopping more. I realized I'd never gone back and gotten the couple things I planned to go back and get. And then, of course, you find a couple other things you can't believe you missed the first time... you know how it goes! Hooray for a fast connection, it's all safely downloaded. :thumbup:

I had to use hubby's paypal this afternoon to make my final purchase. just found out our neighbor girl (this family is my dd's second family) is having a Hannah Montana birthday party and I had to pick up Dani's Pop Rocks kit and tag album so that I can make her something this week.

just knowing the store's going to be closed for a week made me want to buy a ton of stuff "just in case"....

I went through the shop last week and got my stuff. Then two nights ago, I decided I'd better check the GGG one more time...found a cute girlie kit (I don't have any daughters) and had to buy it. Then tonight, I was checking a blog and found a cute paper with counting sheep...had to go back and get that kit as I am trying to scrap pics from when DS was a baby... Sigh... A whole week...must learn self-control...

Yes but it is like Joan said. Here in PA, heaven forbid the weather forecasts mentions the word Snow (even a light dusting), the stores are madhouses - people buying up all the milk and bread. When hubby and I head to get groceries, we say "must be calling for snow" cause all the crazies are there making the mad dash!!!

You'll have to give us the lowdown on what sales are like next weekend - I'm sure they will be up high because we're all going thru withdrawals.
