My Own Font!

I just bought my own font! Wahoo. I have no idea why I did since one reason I stopped paper scrapping was cause I hate my handwritting, but I am hoping Darcy can make it all pretty for me. :thumbup: Next payday I will get my mom's and then my dh's. I thought that was a great idea for whoever mentioned it in Lizzy's thread.
 
I think it is great that Darcy is able to create personalized fonts....I really am thinking about having my Mom's done....I only wish that I could have had my maternal grandmother's done too....My Mom has a copy of a "note" that her Mom wrote to them when they were kids....In the note she told them not to play with the stove and I think what to eat for lunch while she worked....My Mom was so emotional when she was given a copy of this "note"....What a wonderful way to remember someone special!:thumbup:
 
You're going to love it! I bought one about 6 months ago, and it's my most-used font by far. My handwriting isn't that wonderful either, but the beauty of having it made into a font is that you can take the time to write everything out neatly for Darcy (and rewrite it over and over and over before you send it to her...not talking from personal experience or anything;) ) and then have your nicest handwriting on all of your pages.
 
I am super excited for it, too. I am betting my dh will think getting his made is really cool, too, actually. Can't wait to get it done and then show it off. :)
