sigh.

A few of you guys emailed me requesting to read my novel. If you liked Twilight, this is a much more adult version of it. It's about the Greek Muses in modern Los Angeles.

It is an adult novel, so keep it in mind, lots of colorful language, violence, a couple of steamy scenes... ;)
There are gods, muses, vampires, rock stars... it's fun. Very urban fantasy, so like I said, for Twilight and Buffy nerds, my people.

So... I posted the last complete edit I had... it's not the version I'm working on right now, but there's not too much different, so I thought I'd give you all a peek. I put up the first 10 chapters, which is Part 1 of Book 1. I'll post the rest of it tomorrow. The format is way off, I just cut and paste from Windows, but I don't have time to reformat the whole novel, sorry, guys!

If you love it, let me know, I need the encouragement to finish it and send it out. (I am considering converting it to YA, if you think that would be better, let me know that, too)

I'm getting ready to go out of town, so I don't have time to read it. But if I can give you the push to follow your dreams, baby... I'm going to do that!!! :thumbup:

ps. I love YA fic, so I'd love to see you write a YA book. :wub:
 
I just read the first little bit of the prologue and I'm definitely interested. Going away for the weekend, but I want to read it when I get back.

Oh how cool!! Years ago I started writing a romance type book, got halfway finished then ran out of steam. lol I can't wait to read yours!
 
Okay, now at least it's presentable.

Halfway decent. But now it's 2am and I have got to go to bed. =D

... keep in mind it's a 5 book series...
so... the first half of this first book is a lot of character development, give it time, I know when you're reading on the internet it seems like it takes longer than regular books to get going, but that's really just because you're on the internet, and you just expect things faster, lol.
 
cool! i've always wanted to write a novel, but i don't think i have the patience, lol. I'll definitely check it out; sounds just like the stuff i like to read!
 
I read the Prologue so far and Bryn I'm quite impressed! I can see how I'd be quickly drawn into the story and your writing style and use of language is really fantastic! Kudos to you for following your dreams! Don't give up!
 
Oh WOW - I am SO impressed. How do you find time to Write AND Scrap? lol - I am going to read this as soon as I can find a minute. Thanks for sharing. :thumbup:
 
It's not the newborn that takes up most of my time... it's my dang 19-month-old... he'd tear the house down to the bare structure given enough time.
 
The whole thing is finally up now. I may go and tweak the formatting a bit, to make it an easier read. ;)

okay, bryn, you meanie...I just spent ALL of my afternoon/evening reading your book....AND I WANT THE REST. You are evil. It's just mean to tease us with that...

btw...ares reminds me (just a bit, pet) of spike....intentional on your part? I know we share a *slight* affection for William the Bloody....
 
What? Did you refresh? I posted the whole book...
you read all the way to the epilogue?
You just burned through my 400 page novel in an afternoon, stinker!

I haven't finished the second one, yet, it's only about half done.
