My morning involved 911

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. He is now safely in the hands of the VA in Marion, after spending the ENTIRE day at the hospital here in Kokomo. They were so S..L...O...W. How hard is it to call the VA, let them know whats going on and get someone to take him? they wouldnt let me take him, cause they wanted to be sure he did get there. I just got back like 5 minutes ago. We've been gone all day. I'm worn out, kids are tired too i bet. I finally found me a copy of Twighlight, so i can't wait til the kids are asleep then i'm taking a hot bath and reading, lol!

What a day you've had Corey. Chad knew he needed help just by telling you and you did the best thing for him. The VA will do right by him and give him the help he needs.
Like Paula, I've got Bipolar Disorder and know what i can feel like to be so depressed. I'm so glad he reached out to you.
My thoughts and prayers to Chad, you and your family.

WOW What a day you had! I hope you enjoy that bath and book you deserve it! You are a very strong person to have been able to get through what you did today and I will keep you and your DH in my thoughts and prayers. I hope they can give him the help he needs.

Wow, that was a very brave thing you did...I am glad he is going to get some help though....HUGS to you, I hope he gets better fast!!!!

Oh that is so hard. Especially with the kids. I do hope that he gets the help he needs and things get better for all of you. Living like that is so difficult on everyone. I will say a prayer for you and him. Keep us posted.

Big Hugs, if ever you need to call again ( I hope not) but just in case tell them it's voluntary so they don't send the whole shabang, we do this all the time for our pt's if it's voluntary of course.
It sounds like your a great support and that's so important for him. I hope he gets better soon. Big Hugs:)
