My Mom's Font

My 90 year old mother (she had me when she was SOOOO old ;) ), was just here visiting, so I had Darcy make her writing into a font. How fun is this!! (I typed out a note that she left on my computer with money last time she was here. :) )

You all should do this! I can't tell you how relieved I am that I had this done. I'm just sad my dad has been gone so many years - he had such excellent and cool left-handed writing. :(

That is very cool! I ordered one like 5 months ago and still haven't done it! Yikes!
I want to get my 6 year old's handwriting too! I need to get that done asap!

That is awesome Mary! I would really love to have my dad's done . . . and my mom and one of my brothers. :D

My mom REFUSES to let me do a font. I almost wonder if I could trick her into it? I ordered a font a LONG time ago, but never did submit it :(

I also really want one of my brother's handwriting, but he hates his handwriting, and won't do it. Oh, and I want my grandmother and grandfather's handwriting... I really would love to get a font with each of their writing, because it would be really neat for the baby books.

When Zach is old enough to write, I'd like to buy a font with his writing every year (maybe on the day we start school for the year, I'll have him write out his letters, or at the end of the year, or... I don't know). I just think it is so neat watching my own handwriting develop as I look back over my school work as a child... and I'd love to keep a record of that (especially for his yearly scrapbook).

That's a great idea and your mother has a beautiful handwriting!
I also have my own font but most time I prefer other fonts...:D

This is a great idea. I've already got my sister to agree to have hers done for me, but I should ask my mom for hers. Thing is she had a stroke last year and her handwriting is really different now. :( I would do my son's but I can't read it, so what would be the point. :)

Thanks everyone for all your sweet comments. I'm lucky that my mom is perfectly healthy (she still golfs and drives!) and her mind is still sharp so she could do this. :)
