my mom needs prayers

Thank you everyone, I can't tell you how much this means to me. My mom is out of surgery now. The doctors repaired her heart and she was finally able to get off the bypass pump. They say her heart is looking fine now, which is wonderful news. However... during surgery they found a lot of stuff that is wrong inside her. It's hard to get real answers right now. The doctor's only can say, "She's been very sick for a long time." :( They are suspecting that her kidneys are shot. My mom is a diabetic, so it was something we all knew could happen at some point. With a heart that isn't working right, it made it much worse. Unfortunately, they are also saying other organs are having problems too. As she gets stronger, they will be able to figure out what is next and if they have to operate again.

Thank you for your prayers. I know that helped my mom pull through her heart surgery. She still has some battles ahead, so any prayers for her and the doctors' wisdom to figure this out are still appreciated. Thank you!
 
I am so relieved for you that she was able to make it through the surgery. I've been checking for an update often tonight! I'm sorry to hear there are other things that are wrong. I hope they can help her to feel the best she can. Hugs, Julie!!

Oh no Julie, I'm so very sorry to hear this. I will definitely keep Fran in my thoughts and prayers. We recently went through something similar with my FIL and he ended up pulling through just fine, so keep your head up. {{{HUGS}}}
 
Thank God she got out of surgery okay! I'll be keeping her in my T&P for all the things that are to come of this. ((((HUGS))))

Oh Julie! I'm sorry I missed this last night! I'm so glad she made it through surgery ok, but I'm terribly sorry for the long road that will be ahead. Prayers going up. *HUGS*
 
OH WOW! I'm sorry you are having to deal with all of this Julie! I am glad your Mom made it through the surgery and I hope she can get the help she needs to recover from any other issues. I'm keeping her in my thoughts!
