I think some of you will be able to relate, so I'm gonna share!
We have a 2 year old golden whose favorite toy has been this dumb zebra we got at Marshall's / Home Goods when she was a puppy. She has looooved this thing like crazy to the point where he's lost arms that I tried stitching back on before giving up and just closing up the holes so he was an armless friend for months.
Last week, she finally gutted him and he just looked so bad. Sadly, I cut off all the tags when she was a puppy so I had no idea the brand name or anything. I searched through tons of dog toy listings before finding a set of 2 (zebra / giraffe) that were mini versions of her fave which gave me a brand name and when I searched that, I found that company's website and found that they no longer made him
But then.... I reverse image searched him and Google found a single listing on Ebay selling two of them and you can bet I bought both so we have a back up!
I don't know if those of you who have dogs have experienced this before, but sometimes when you buy a replacement toy, even if it's the same one, they just don't like it the same.
I'm happy to report that isn't the case this time. She is beside herself with joy and has not put it down since we gave it to her!!
So happy she's happy and has a new love in her life! It's my mini Christmas miracle haha
