So I am putting the twins to bed and we really did not have time to read a whole book so I had each of them tell a story about each other....it was really cute and they said we should do that every night. That got me thinking ( Scary, I know!!) So we are gonna tell stories and I am gonna write it down for them...they will add their own drawings to it and I will make a book for each of them. I am really excited about this and can't wait to see how they progress through this experience.

Join me in my excitement would ya!!!!! I guess it is the little things that make me happy!!!!
 
Oh you bet I will...I plan to mix it with some digi stuff too so I guess it will be kinda Hybrid :thumbup:
 
Sounds fun!!!

A lil off topic - a few years ago my dd saw a tutor every Saturday morning. to help her with her reading and writing skills, this teacher had her write her own book and draw her own pictures to go with the story. My dd loved doing this and still has her book she wrote. The blank books were something like these ones here

Thanks for the link LuAnn, those would be perfect for this.....I told DS2 what our plan was and now he wants to do one too. He is 11 but he LOVES to draw so I am thinking I will order some of these for him. I may have my nephew do one for his parents for X-Mas too!!!
 
Aww, what a great idea and it'll be so much fun for them to look back on when they're older!
