My kid is crazy

Rae is 3. She goes to bed at 8 pm. I went to bed at midnightish.

She decided at 1 am she needed juice, had a flying fit because I wouldn't give it to her, I gave her water. Move ahead to 2 am. Needed to pee. Go on to 2:30 am. Needed more water. Fastforward to 4 am. Needed to pee again (my fault). 4:30 am decided it was time to get up. :cursing:

Keep in mind DH snores SO loud, it wakes me up...so add on at least 4 times he woke me. :cursing:

I'm so exhausted! What is wrong with this kid! Just go to sleep! Just because you hear birds outside doesn't mean it's time to get up. I made her go back to bed, I just could not get up anymore. YAWN!

Those nights are the worst! I feel for you.

Our two yr old dd is waking up and coming into our bed. Then about a half hour later, she has a night terror. I can't wake her up during it. She will scream and kick for about 10 minutes. All that screaming and I'm just hoping the baby doesn't wake up (who's in a crib in our room). He doesn't, til she's finished:huh:

Hope you get a nap in today, I'm sure you need it!

haha. Try living in Alaska! It never gets dark! My kid is sooo confused it's not even funny. He used to at least kinda go by light=awake, dark=sleep...it's literally as bright as day 24/7 here. We just moved here so...we really have yet to put curtains up. *Note to self* Bug hubby bout the curtains again today.

Aw man, Jamie. That sucks. Have you thought about putting a small waterbottle in her room for her to sip from at night as needed? Just fill it up a little bit (maybe less than 1 cup) and tell her than she can drink it whenever she is thristy at night, but once its gone, she can't have anything else until morning. Then, set an alarm for her to go off at a resonable time (that would be 7am for my kids, but it varies for everyone) and tell her that if she wakes up before the alarm, she can hang out in her room and read and do puzzles or whatever and can come get you when the alarm goes off. Maybe that will buy you a few extra hours of sleep. :)

Good luck.

Jenny, that alarm clock sounds like a great idea! (My 2.5 year old thinks 5 AM is the time to get up, no matter what time she goes to bed)
