It's so beautiful, and I'm soooo jealous! We just left Malaysia in July, and I miss it so much. He's been there all week, just soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean (ok, ok. He's been doing a little consulting as the resident expert on the Bajau Laut, as well as doing some translating, but still). He so owes me when he gets home, right?
 
Lucky him! He definitely owes you. DH is going on a trip to Boston, which is one of our favorite places and where we'd probably be living if not for his job. I tried the "go, have fun, but you owe me" approach, but he promises me the training he's going to attend gives lots of homework and he won't be having any fun at all. Doesn't look like the same can be said for your DH, LOL.
 
I live such a sheltered life! What an amazing collection of life experiences your husband must have. Fascinating. Thanks for sharing!
 
I am just checking out the other (older) photos on that site, are those all taken by your husband? They're gorgeous!! Real pieces of art!
 
My husband is DEFINITELY NOT the photographer, lol. If he was, I'd always be scrapping his pictures, lol. He's the "fixer". He's making arrangements and connecting them and translating. But he wont' even ask them to take a picture of him for my PL album. : (
 
I just saw this post from your other post about gift cards...so you know I had to look at the picture. It is amazing. Wish there was a way to jump into a photo from my computer sometimes ;)
 
Had to let you know that about a dozen of the views on this thread are from me popping back to look at that gorgeous photo :wub: I could so be there right now. With the family you say? Um...sure....I guess. :D

And I should clarify that Joel is so not the photographer. In fact, he didn't bring me home a single photograph, dirty rat. He's the "fixer", the guy with all the local knowledge and connections.
