Me and the kids just cleaned the entire house! Ceiling fans, baseboards, fridge, floors, bathrooms....you name it.....we did it. Well, just about....:p

It feels so good to have it done. It smells so fab and looks sooooo good. Now I can go visit my parents for 2 days without having to come back to a messy house!!!

I already emailed DH and told him that when he comes home, don't turn around to leave. I promised him that he will be in the right house even if it doesn't seem like it.

Now I am off to take a nap! :thumbup:
 
Wow -- you cleaned so that you could go to someone else's house?! I only do that kind of cleaning when someone is coming to my house! Congrats on getting it done!
 
Yay, wanna come over here? LOL. I can't go out of town and leave a messy house either...just the way my mama raised me. The only thing I want to have to do after a vacation is laundry and grocery shop.
 
Must be something in the air today because I cleaned like a banshee too!

Smells like apple cinnamon, lemon soap, and now cookies. I had to bake some sugar cookies while I was still in a Holly Housewife mood.
 
Yay for clean houses!! All of that was done in mine today, too, but I have to admit, my cleaning lady did it. :o Hehe!

Every Monday (the day she comes each week) when we get home from school, my kids run around seeing how clean our house and their rooms are! Ha! And I have to admit I can't wait to get in the door and take a big whiff of CLEAN smell! She is absolutely worth her weight in gold (plus every penny she's paid)!
 
I started on mine on Saturday and managed to get the baseboards, fan and blinds done in my family room and my kitchen blinds done. I need to do more but I just don't wanna.... However we are having our carpets cleaned tomorrow so I get to go home and move furniture by myself since DH is *still* at work (4 days on) and the kids are too little to be of any help.

I really want to get a housekeeper at least twice a month but not sure where to begin. Do you have a housekeeper? What do they do? Just the normal surface cleaning or the deep cleaning (baseboards, blinds, etc.)?
 
Wow, you're all impressing me! I'm lucky if I can get everything packed and all of us out the door at the right time. Clean before we leave? Ha!
