Here's basically what I did. I would have gone hybrid, but I don't think my printer could have handled it. But I'm sure you could.

What I used
Black Spray Paint
A cheap cookie sheet from Walmart
I got a pack of Halloween paper from Michael's
A package of Die-cuts
Some stickers (the heavy cardboard or paper ones)
Magnets, I just bought one of the rolls
tacky glue or spray adhesive (I liked the spray better)
Letters or Paper that says Happy Halloween or Christmas, whatever you want to count down
Ribbon
Numbers

I cut everything by hand the papers, I cut 31 squares, I didn't make them perfect, then the magnets I got were sticky on the back, so I just stuck them to the die cuts and stickers. I used the tacky glue at first to glue down the title and bottom piece of paper, but I switched to the spray when I did all the paper blocks.
 
Vanessa, this is SO awesome!! And can I say you are making us all look bad???? You JUST had surgery on your wrist! Good grief! :)

I had 1 week of regular leave and didn't get crap done...not even laundry

And I'm totally paying for it. I don't know what on earth I was thinking. My wrist hurts so bad, I had to take my brace off to cut stuff and had to be very careful not to bend my wrist. Yeah, not a good idea. :cursing:

Um, obviously I'll make one for you. :) I'm hoping to make a few and sell 'em on Etsy. I need to get started in the next few weeks I think......

Vanessa that came out AMAZING! You did such an awesome job! I'm so sorry you're in pain though, hopefully that's gone by now?
