My DS turned 5 today!

I'm both happy and sad at the same time! He's such a sweet boy- very sensitive, but I see him growing up every day. I dread the day that he won't let me cuddle with him or give him kisses. Today he's been engrossed in video games, we went to a movie and just had a fun "do whatever you want to do" day.

But its bittersweet you know? I think because I know we're done having children I'm realizing my babies are growing up... thank goodness for digital cameras so I can preserve some of these moments- I just wish time would slow down!

I so know what you mean. My son turns 6 next week. He still loves to cuddle with his mommy, but I know those days are limited!

They do grow up fast!! I know that feeling!! Happy Bday to him though!!

My little guy will be 8 soon, and I so know what you mean. I find, especially now that he looks so much like a young boy, and not a baby anymore, that it's really sinking in. ((hugs)) to you today mama.

aww, I know the feeling. my son turned 7 blink last week. He's still into hugs and cuddles though.
