Okay I'm biased BUT he's 3 yrs and 4 mos old and he can write his entire alphabet AND his name AND his numbers 1-20. The thing is I've never taught him this...he pulled out his magna doodle before bed and we were just doodling and stuff and I was half-way paying attention to him and looked down and he'd written his name as plain as day. Then we went through the entire alphabet and his numbers and he wrote every one! I'm so proud :p

That's so great!!! Isn't it fun to see our little ones learning things - and writing their name just because it's fun to do, not because they "have" to?

that's amazing!! don't you just love those quick learner kids!?! it's blues clues. i swear. dd (who is 10 now) was singing her abc's at a year old and reading at 4. i owe it all to better childrens programming.

Wow! You should be proud Nikki!

Chelsea (will be 5 the end of October) is just doing the alphabet and her name.

Wow, that is great! What a smarty.

My DD (now 2) learned her shapes from Dora. One day she was playing with a shape sorter and told me "circle, square, triangle", and now everytime we come to a stop sign, she yells "octagon". LOL

That's so cool!!

Sounds like we've all got a bunch of geniuses...;) Devin learned to read from the closed captioning on the tv, lol! He was almost 3 the first time he read something out loud.

Yeah, I'd say he's a genius!! My 4-yr. old (almost 5), Wes, is extremely smart too. Did everything early and is reading very simple books.

My 3-yr. old Claire, while I think she's very bright is not at the same level Wes is. It's really interesting to see the difference in interests/personalities/development, etc.

Wow he is SO smart, thats awesome!! My son isnt even interested in writing anything but doodles on hs bedroom walls LOL It drives me bananas!
