You know how on Instagram you can click on your places and see a map with little thumbnails of all the places you've posted pics from? Wouldn't it be cool if we could have a world map with little pins on all the places we live, with our little avatar pics and such? I'd love a visual of how we're spread all over the globe. :wub:

we had something like this years and years ago.. i have no idea what it was or what site it was on but it would be way outdated now! LOL

This was a great idea! I added myself to the map.

Now I know where to look if I want to see if someone lives near where we are going to vacation. Great way to plan meet ups!!! :wub:
 
Fun idea! Don't forget to add a detailed description so you can go to the media tab and upload your avatar too!
 
Yeees, this is awesome. I am too bad at geography so this map is amazingly useful and cool for someone like me.

I'm fascinated with where people are from and how small the world can be when you start meeting people online. I recently discovered that SSD member suzs lives in a SMALL town in canada where I have family and that she grew up in another small town where I have other family and went to school with my cousins.. lol.
