My baby is growing up...

Today, I took my oldest daughter to Kindergarten Round Up. Wow. I can't believe she's going to be starting Kindergarten in the fall! I swear she was just born yesterday. I can still remember the labor pains.....and i still have those stretch marks,lol. They gave me a bunch of stuff to fill out and i got to choose between full or half day. I checked full day, lol. I think it'll be good for her to go all day. I know she'll have fun. She's excited. But its hard to let go, lol. I'm going to be the one crying, not her :p !
 
They really do grow up so fast! I'm actually happy my older DS misses our kindergarten cutoff by a week and a half. Otherwise he'd be going next year too, and I don't think he's ready. (And I know I'm not, LOL.) That's nice that you get the option of full or half day. I'm pretty sure full day is all there is here.
 
such a bittersweet time!

I am depressed, my oldest starts high school in the fall! I am so not ready for that! Especially when I realize that the baby won't even be in Kindergarten for another two years - the oldest will be two years from graduation!!!!
 
Oh my oldest will be starting Kindergarten this fall too! Man - I so wish we had the option here of half or full days. It's all 6 hours here. At least she got into an early start school (7:50am - 1:50pm) so at least I'll have her back before 2pm.

Yeah, I know...I'm weird. haha.

It is so hard for us mommies, though isn't it? I know you are going to be so proud of her and so happy to see all the ways she changes this year. It's a little sad but very exciting also!
 
I feel for you, I will be bawling when the time comes for my DD to start school, thankfully I still have 3 years!!!
 
Aww, thats a milestone I'm not looking forward to again. My girls are 14 years apart... when the oldest graduates high school, the youngest will start kindergarten :(
 
I'll have a preschooler and a second grader next year... Where does the time go? I remeber when my oldest started preschool and I was so terrified! He loved it thought!
 
My ds will start school this fall too. I know I will cry when we do registration, luckily it is in May so I can be in denial a little while longer.
 
Oh I so hear you

I see my youngest walking home with his brother and sister and think " he is way to small to be walking home from school" It still makes me sad and he has almost a whole year in already

My youngest is starting Kindergarten in the fall too... come September we will all cry together about our babies growing up. :( We have the option of part-time or for $25 a week I can add the afternoon session too. I'm still puzzling out what I want to do. I like the idea of giving him every advantage, but well, I like my kid and want him with me. It's a hard choice!!
 
My DS will be starting school in the fall as well. I am really not looking forward to it, but he is excited, let's hope he keeps the exitement though :)
