just rolled over!

I mean is this normal? lol..DS didn't roll til 4 1/2 mos...he was a preemie and did everything about a month behind his first year, but still 2 mos?! I wish you could have seen the look on my face lol..I left her in her crib on her back, went into the kitchen to fix a bottle, came back and the little tater was on her stomach! She probably won't do it again for a month now.

There is a huge range on rolling over - she's a bit earlier than some but not unduly so. Of my 4 kids they rolled over at: 9 days, 9 days, 5 months, 4 months. My first 2 were somewhat peppy as you can see....

Probably just an opps, but don't leave her on the couch or anything any more just in case. She could be just a really fast learner. Great job to her!

LOL... you just might have your hands full with her! :) Jacob was the same, very early on the milestones. Was fully walking at 9 months. Then Logan was completely the opposite and wasn't even crawling at 9 months.

Avalynne rolled over from belly to back at 2 months and 1 day. It totally varies from baby to baby!! You must be proud! I know I was BEAMING when Ava first did it, lol!!

My kids are a lot like yours Nikki. Emma was "behind" in everything. She didn't roll until about 4 months, didn't walk till 13 months, didn't really talk until almost 2 1/2...Madelyn rolled over at 8 weeks, crawled at 6 months, and is now pretty much fully walking at 11 months. It is insane the differences between two kids!

Well she did it two more times lol..it's funny though b/c once she's over she realizes she doesn't want to be on her stomach and starts crying. I've been thinking, just watching her at this young age how different she acts from DS...I mean he was normal, just took his time with stuff ya know? Crawled at 9 mos...didn't walk til 13 mos...She is just SO alert and aware of things..she's already trying to grab her feet and bat at toys...I have a feeling I won't be able to enjoy that period where they just sit for very long lol

LOL, it seems true that the second ones learn just a little bit quicker because they want to be able to keep up. My niece is 5 months old and crawling and pulling herself into standing up already (her brother is 3, so she wants to be able to play with him, lol).

whoa. superbaby. you can really never tell when they're going to do what. i skipped crawling and was walking at 6 months. so there you have it. baby's are weirdos. wait...maybe i'm just a weirdo.

My mom says that all of us kids walked really early too Lizzy. One of my sisters was walking by 7.5 months, and all of us by about 9 or 10 months (and there were 5 of us). So I don't think you are TOO weird, lol!

You DEFINITELY hit the nail on the head. It seems like Madelyn wasn't ever a baby at all. Emma was my calm and quiet baby girl who just took her time with everything. Madelyn lifted her head and looked at stuff from day one! LOL

I totally know what you mean!! Claire is the same way. She is already trying to sit up and she's quite good at sitting supported right now. She loves to try to play with her feet and she's so aware of everything that goes on around her. I thought for sure I'd be able to really enjoy and savor these little baby times, but I feel like she's already growing so fast!!
