I have a playlist called 'smart music' that I play when we are schooling, one called 'worship' with mixed Christian music, and a playlist with sentimental songs that remind me of my childhood. I have one of just sad songs that make me cry. You can sort your music by your mood, your activity, or by similar artists... like sometimes I start a new playlist when I realize a certain song doesn't fit in nicely with the one it's in. If I feel like skipping the song when I'm not in the mood for it (like, it's too upbeat) I start a new playlist based on that song with other more upbeat songs.
I have issues.
I have different ways of sorting also - I have several that are just by band/singer. I have lists by decade - 60s, 70s, 80s. I have a bedtime list that I play when I sleep. I have a Happy Dance list for when I'm batch cooking for the week or doing other mundane chores around the house. I have a road trip list. I have a New Hits list. I make new lists fairly often to suit my mood too
