Movie Review: The Soloist

I took a mommy afternoon today and went to see The Soloist with Robert Downey, Jr. and Jamie Fox. Dang, the movie is GOOD!

I figured it was going to be another formulaic Academy Award movie, and it's NOT! The acting is really great, the photography/directing is awesome and they did unique things in the movie that made it great to watch as a film, not just a story. Downey, Jr. was REALLY good, as was Fox. It was not violent, but showed violence, was not painful, but still made your heart ache, not preachy, but still made you want to help.

Just a great film! Thought you'd want to know lol.
