mosquitoes...STILL?!?!

I was outside playing with my cat Pebbles. She doesnt go out often just every now and then and it is not even dark yet not even really close and I am ate up by mosquitoes!! I can count ten HUGE welts on my arm alone. I am sooo ready for winter. They usuaully die down just a tad by that time. I hate being stuck inside because the bug repellants make me break out so I cant use them and the natural stuff Ive tried doesnt really help.
 
That SUCKS!!

I am a mosquito magnet, when I am around nobody else gets bit. I really don't know what their purpose on this planet is. Don't get me wrong, I love ALL God's creatures, but Mosquitos??? YUCK!
 
I really dont either. I hate mosquitoes. Im just very sensitive and even though it does eventually go away they make me itch like crazy for hours and they swell so bad. I figured that it would be late enough in the year they wouldnt be that bad though. I think it is the canal next to my house. With all the rain we got we didnt get a chance to have it dry up and now it is all gunky and slimy looking. A breeding ground for mosquitoes
 
You are in the southern part of the US? I remember you have mentiioned it before but cant remember where now. We have so much water here in my area. Just a few houses down from a good sized lake and a drainage canal that runs the length of my yard that is about 1/3 full and about 8 foot deep at least

They've been gone here for about a month. I am a magnet for them also, and I can't stand it. I have no willpower, and scratch them too much LOL
 
Ugh, can't stand them! I used to get bit all the time back in the Philippines, them buzzing in your ear and getting itchy welts - so NOT fun!
