thank you for humoring me!

i finished painting out dining room.... it needs to be decorated still... i just threw up the 2 thingy dos on the wall, but good enough for now!

and please excuse the mess on the little wine rack shelfy thingy... it's the kids school stuff that i have still yet to go through! ahhaha

okay so i'll preface this with.... the whole house is painted this light brown color.... it's a nice color and all, but the WHOLE house is this color, so we wanted to change it up. the furniture in there is really pale, so it was like camoflaged in there! ahhah so we went for a greyish-blue color in 2 tones....

dude, that is a lot of painting in one week- or was it just two days? Either way, you rock- and deserve a margarita!

it WAS a lot of painting! i did most of this room yesterday, but then had to finish the bottom part and a second coat on the bottom too which took a while cuz of all the dang trim work.

my body HURTS! bwhahahahah yeah, that's how out of shape i am! ;)

Oh man, I LOVE it Lauren!!! It's gorgeous!! I LOVE the built in trim thingys on the lower part of the wall! I would love to do that somewhere in our house!

btw, i'm SO sorry if the photos of this room and jessica's room came off as "show-offy"... i really didn't mean to come off like that at ALL..... i just wanted to show the purty colors off to people who would appreciate them! ;)

I've got a couple of rooms for your Lauren! In fact...you could do the entire house! Whaddya say? I make a mean pot of coffee and some delish chocolate chip cookies? :D

I think it looks bee-u-tiful! You can show off all you want - that's alot of hard work!
 
Can you paint my condo? lol! I love the color--it made the white trim and wooden furniture all the more striking :D
 
Lauren I love all of your bold color choices! I am always afraid to do that, thinking it may not work the way I want...so I am blah tans all around here! :) BUT... we are building a new home, so I may be coming to you for some designing expertise! :)
 
oooh good luck w/ the build! how exciting! :D

never be afraid to try something bold bcuz remember it's JUST paint! that's the beauty of it... although it's a pain, you can always redo it!

in our old house i had painted our dining room "Irish Moss" which was a really cool green... i could never find anything that went w/ it though! hahah and then we had 2 bathrooms i hated.... i painted one lavender (which ended up way too fooofy and the other a dark burgandy.... WAY too dark, but they grew on me ;)

...um... okay i'm so rambling...... tee hee
