Minecraft question

Thinking of getting my boys a laptop for Christmas. Here's my question... Can they both play minecraft on it and keep their creations separate? I'm clueless. Right now, they both have iPods and play it on them. They've been asking to put minecraft on our home computer but I'm not willing to do it, lol. Fill me in, please!
 
Yes, they can each play separately of each other. John and the big boys all have their own game of it going on my Kindle.
 
We're wanting to get Rachel a tablet for Christmas so that she can play Minecraft on it instead of hogging my phone. Does it do okay on your Kindle (and which one do you have)?
 
I have a Fire and I guess it does fine. lol I have no idea how it compares to the computer version since I don't play it.
 
LOL we don't have the computer version either...she's only had the Pocket Version on my phone. Sounds like she's getting a Kindle Fire for Christmas then!

The next generation of Fires is probably going to be announced very soon, so Amazon has had a lot of sales lately on the current models.
