member vs designer gallery?

Which do you post your layouts in? Do you post in only one or both?

I tend to stick to about 90% of the same kit when I scrap. Where should I be posting my layouts? I'm not on any creative team, so I've been just sticking them in my member gallery.

But, I know before I buy a kit in the shoppe, I go to that designers gallery to see what others have done with the kit.
 
I always post in the designer galleries even if I'm not on their CT. I've always thought maybe the designers might like to see what their customers are doing with their goodies :).
 
I usually post in the designer's gallery. If it's a collaboration kit, I will post in more than one designer's gallery.
 
I only post in the designer gallery if I CT for them. Otherwise the members gallery only. I didn't realize that designers might like it if we posted in their gallery....
 
I usually post them in the designers gallery, but only if the majority of the layout is using 1 kit (because I am a HUGE mix & match scrapper). I'm one of those people that likes to see what everyone is creating with certain kits, and I'll head to the gallery first before buying. I love when people post there!
 
Yup, I'm with Jaedyn. I love to see what other people are doing with a kit before I buy it, heck, sometimes even AFTER I've bought it! I LOVED going through Zoe's designer gallery the other day for her contest to see all the fabulous layouts created w/her products. I added like three kits to my wish list, lol.


I always upload to a designer's gallery if I use mostly her products.
 
I always post to the designer's gallery whether I CT for them or not!!! :thumbup: I always think "maybe the designers browse those galleries looking for CT members or CT guests"!!! :thumbup:
 
I post in both. If I'm using products of more than 2 designers, then I just list the two designers that I used more stuff from (does that make sense?)
 
I've always posted in the designer's gallery if most of the products in the layout are by that designer. I know as a designer, I love to see layouts in my gallery whether they're from my ct or not. :)
 
Another bonus of only uploading to a designer gallery is that your layout only shows up as 1 thumbnail. You know when you go to browse through the last uploads, the same layout might be on the page 2-3 times? If you only upload to the 1 gallery, it only shows 1 thumbnail BUT its automatically put in your member gallery (meaning if someone clicks on your gallery, its automatically there, but filed under say "Zoe Pearn"). Technically its in 2 galleries but only filed as one.

Makes it easier for browsing the latest uploads :).
 
Well, I learn something new every day!! I had no idea that a designer would want us to post in their galleries if we weren't on their CT's. Maybe we should take a poll, although it sounds like most are in support of it!!
