...came out today! Who else bought it??

OMGOSH it's soo fun, the kids are having the BEST time with it. The wheel is the coolest thing ever! I'm soo excited about this one :) Anyone else?

Bad, evil enabler, Robin!!! I'd managed to forget it was coming out today and was in danger of actually getting things done! :p
 
It came out this last Sunday here and then is when I bought our first Wii!! The kids love the Mario Kart and I must say my body hurts so bad from the tennis and bowling, but man is it so fun!!
 
Jordan pre-ordered it weeks ago. Apparently so did his family, because while he was out there this weekend they went to the midnight opening of the store to get their copy!

We picked ours up today during lunch, but since hockey is on I haven't had a chance to play. Jordan apparently doesn't like the wii wheel.
 
Does it count if I was excited abt it when I played it on Nintendo 64 circa 1993 in Angie West's living room at approximately 2 am when all the other gurls from the birthday sleepover were watching some horror movie in the basement, but I was too scared?! *lol*
 
We just got our Wii a week ago today... it was my gift to my hubby for his birthday... and we love it!! AND my body has been so sore ever since all because of the stinkin' bowling. I have never bowled so great in my life -- LOL!!!

Maybe someone needs to post a Wii LO Challenge... ;)
 
ours came from amazon today (my dh's b-day present from my parents) and we can't wait to play after dinner!
 
I don't have it yet, but i'm sure i'll get it! we did however just by Grand Theft Auto IV last night for our Playstation 3. I'm about to go play that now, lol. I also love Burnout Paradise. any game that i can drive fast and not actually get pulled over i LOVE, so i'll probably get the Mario Kart next!
 
HA! We just bought this yesterday! Kendra's been playing it like crazy... I haven't had a turn yet. LOL! Can't wait!

LOL! No Wii here :confused: - kiddos are too busy with sport. The playstation we bought several years ago just gathers dust during school term. It occassionally comes out during quiet times in the hols.
Since I have been totally absorbed by certain games in the past, however, I can relate to the fun of these things for the young and the young at heart alike! (makes the time dissappear without any noticin' whatsoever)
Sounds like some parents will be standing inline for a turn on this one - maybe some early nights for the kiddos will get you some free time to nab the goods!
 
The WII by far was our best purchase---after the xbox--and the ps3...hubbys an avid avid fan---lol of gaming---sooo needless to say we have it and a shelf of 1000 other games---:)) It's a blast--good for kids and adults--has anyone see the Wii Fit Boards that come out the 21st of May---we have a friend whose a tester for Wii---Its AWESOME..MUST HAVE :) if ur a wii sports fan!!!!

Oh I reserved the Fit Board, our local store said that it's going to be really hard to get! Glad to here's it worth it!
 
My husband took me out to lunch yesterday AND surprised me by stopping by Best Buy and getting Mario Kart for the Wii! We played a bunch all night. It's so fun! He wants to videotape me playing it, cause I'm one of those people who plays video games with their whole body, so I looked pretty spastic! :D
 
We are planning on buying for my daughter on Saturday.. (her birthday is today)

We have it for the DS and we love to play it (er... i mean the kids) LOL

I'm really new here, but saw this thread and think I must answer *lol*

We bought our Wii last year and two weeks ago Mario Kart. I really really love it!!

And since last Friday we have the Wii Fit board - ladies, it is unbelievable .. it is soooo great! We have so much fun with it and my body cry *lol* .. I used it every day since friday for 1 or 2 hours .. *lol* .. don't miss this board .. it is to funny!!

We got it on Sunday! I love it. I'm not really into video games that, but we've been playing the crap out of it. DH got the new Grand Theft Auto game today for his PS3, so I probably won't get to play Mario Kart for a few weeks now. :blink:
 
We just picked it up from the game rental place. DS1 was so excited! He & I took turns playing for about an hour. The rental place didn't get the wheels with the game, so we have to use the remote & nunchuck.

We may end up getting this one, though DS1 has been asking for Monster 4x4 or Mater National, so I'll leave it up to him when the time comes. I have WiiFit on pre-order & am really looking forward to that
 
What is the Wii Fit? LOL...just looked it up.
Anyone know what the best way to get one of these is?

Pre-order it on Amazon! They have a deal where if the price goes lower before it ships you get the lower price.

I have gamers thumb from pressing the accelerate button so hard for so long while playing Mario Kart. I had to tell DS1 I couldn't play in more because I was in pain.
 
Wii Fit is a balance board for the wii .. to play aerobic, balance-games, yoga and so on ... we bought it last friday - it was the first day you can bought it in germany .. and I really love it!
 
We bought Mario Kart this week - DH ended up loving it more than DS (who kept going in circles.) It makes my thumb ache though.
