Mariners Vs. Red Sox

Ok ladies I am a Mariners fan and I am off to the Baseball game today with my DH to partake in some hoped to be butt whooping on the Red Sox. :D BTW Red Sox are my other Fav. Team. Since Utah didn't have a team we loved the Red Sox since that is where my DH lived for awhile. Now that we are in Washington we love the Mariners so this should be a really fun game! Here I come Garlic Fries!!!! :thumbup:
 
Since we lived in Washington for 11 years, we are all Mariner fans in my house, even though we live in SoCal now. We go see them when they are at the Angels stadium. I love to watch them on TV, and hear the trains going by...makes me totally homesick. My dh flew up with my older boys one year to watch their series with the Yankees...the team we love to hate!

It's fun to see Ken Griffey Jr. back now too. We were there when he started with the Mariners.

This is no fair...I'm really homesick now. I think that my dh and I need to make a trip up!

Have some garlic fries for me! I did get to have some when I went to the Giants game last month when we were in SF. YUMMMM!!
 
Hey if you decide to come up let me know maybe we could do a family night at the game up in the nose bleed section. The kids always have a fun time no matter where we are in the stadium. I will take some pics for ya today. Gotta love Ken Griffey he's the BEST!

Our Canadian sports media likes to tell everyone that the Blue Jays are Canada's team, but here on the west coast most of us say a big what-ev-errrrr to that! Mariners all the way!
 
Ok the mariners game was AWESOME!!!!! We won in the 9th inning! I was so nervous it was going to go into extra innings because it was tied up until the 9th. But we pulled it off and won the series 2 games to 1 :D Here are some pics from the game.

That's what I was thinking...what great seats!! We were watching the game at home here...my dh has the baseball package so he can get all of the Mariner games!
 
We actually got really lucky. When we moved here for work my husband became really good friends with this guy at work and his dad has had Season Mariners tickets for like 26 years or something but has moved to Idaho now so he gave most of them to his Son and his son sells us 15 games a year! They are 9th Row just off of first base!!!! Its so incredible!
