yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnn...dang, sad to say, that was reeeeally boring.
I was disappointed. At least next week Betty will be in it - that should spice things up. Also - anyone know what year it's supposed to be? I lost track.

Aw I loved it...I could have watched it for 3 hours lol It's interesting to see Don seem happy for a change..wonder how long it will last though.
I was surprised Betty wasn't in the premiere though..wonder what's going on with her.
It's the summer of 1966..about half a year from when season 4 left off.

I hate Betty, glad she wasn't in the episode.
However, I also hate the new wife, Megan!
It'll be interesting to see where they go this season.

I can't stand Megan, but not as much as I loathe Betty. Megan is at least nice to the kids.
This episode was a bit slow, but I think that was to ease us into the storyline and help us to get to know the characters again after such a long break. Although, everyone seems much more perky! Especially Peggy. She seems to have changed. And Don! Who knew, I actually like him a lot better when he's a jerk. LOL. My favorite characters last night were Pete and Joan. I LOVE Joan. I wish I could embrace my curves like she does.

I think there's just a pretty big generation gap between Don and Megan. She seems alright to me, just doesn't know her husband very well. I looked over at DH and said "this isn't going to go well" when she started her song! Joan continues to be my favorite as well.
Didn't January Jones (Betty) just have a baby, so she might have been out with her own pregnancy while they were filming??

See, I like Betty, she is the consummate b*tch. Heh. 
So she is fun to watch and I like the storyline when she is in it. And she is such a terrible mom - it's almost shocking.
I don't mind Megan (except her teeth bug me - and I don't have perfect teeth either) and I think she and Don make a very striking couple. He looks better with her than Betty.
One of my favorite things about Mad Men though is they are so good at being in the era - love seeing the clothes!
