Mac users...help!

Not sure what I did. In Safari, when I hovered over a tab (open web page), the little 'x' would show up and I could click it to close the tab. Now, the 'x' doesn't show up and I have to right click and choose 'close tab' in the drop down menu. Did I do something that caused this and can I fix it?

Wow - that is strange. I just did some googling . . . are you in full screen mode? Try to go back and forth between full screen mode and regular . . . see if that helps. Force quit Safari. Reset Safari under the Safari menu (if you do this, you'll lose some of your Safari settings, so I would do it as a last resort).

Have you tried restarting Safari and/or the computer? That's probably where I'd start first since maybe you just hit a weird shortcut or something (which I've done before). Hope you get it figured out!
