Mac Girls - Snow Leopard

Okay all you Mac girls. Have any of you bought the Snow Leopard OS yet? Tell me what you think. Did it make a difference in your hard drive space? Does it make things faster or better or what? I'm trying to decide if I want DH to get it for me for my birthday, or if I should just wait (probably a few years) for the next time they do a full OS release.

I'm not much help because i'm going to hold off on it. There are application issues such as my CS3 not working correctly with it (that I've read about) so I'm not going to mess with it for a while.
If you do get it, i saw it at amazon.com for just $25, which is a little less than from Apple,lol.

I'm actually excited about some of the new features so I'd like to upgrade at some point, but I figured I'd wait a few months to give them time to work out any kinks.

I follow some guy on Twitter who got it. He said it gave him nearly 15GB on his MacBook Pro.

Thanks Lynette for those links. I think I will probably wait. I think what I read was that it should give you back at least 7 GB on your hard drive, and I'll take all the space I can get (15 would be a dream!). And, I like some of the other features too. But, maybe I'll wait a few months until they get some of the bugs worked out.

I've got it on my iMac. I wont be much help though because I got it with my replacement this week. So far so good. Looks pretty much the same as 10.5.8 did to me tho.

Safari 4 is pretty sweet.

I'll likely update my Macbook Pro here soon. Will keep you girls posted!

I keep thinking about upgrading, but I wanted to wait to see if it was worth it. I think I'll probably wait a few months too, hoping the PS kinks get worked out.
