LOST

I avoided this show for years.. and then saw it on netflix (which is rare in canada btw to get a good tv series)

Anyways.. I started watching the other week and I'm not even going to admit to how far in i've watched because its become a bit obsessive.

SERIOUSLY though how did you girls who watched the show even survive having to sit and wait each week for answers and then I can't even imagine the cliffhangers??

SO glad that I'm watching in a time where I can watch it when I want without having to wait and also being able to google :P

This is why we waited until the very end of the series before we started buying the individual seasons on DVD. We loved it so much, after we were all done, we started rewatching it again. Enjoy!!

I think i'll be watching from season 3 over again.. It isn't a show you can only sorta partly watch and since I have been watching it while working on designs its gotten me a bit messed up here and there (but again. ty google. i love you :) )

I'm so jealous that you get to watch it all without ever seeing it before :)

It was torture. I never missed a live episode in 6 years. I was obsessed. I still am. It's hands down my favorite show ever.

I haven't let myself watch the DVDs since it went off the air. I'm waiting b/c when I watch it again I want it to be special. I'm a dork.

Netflix has gotten a lot better over the years! We have it, but since we switched to Bell, I can't get the Wii connected to the internet to stream it! At least the girls watch it on their iPod's so it's not a big waste of money (although $8 a month isn't bad). :)

I loved Lost...wasn't obsessed with it, but it was hard waiting a week for the next episode, as is with any good show I suppose.

haha i was just saying that i love sawyer - i don't typically crush especially on the sorta "bad boys" but man who can resist those dimples?!

It was sooo hard. Admittedly, we came in when there were 3 seasons to watch. But once we caught up with "real time" it was AWFUL to wait from week to week...

Not to mention the writer's strike!

Sawyer...sigh! Anyone remember Ian Somerhalder from way back in Season 1? He needed more screen time!

Sawyer...sigh! I know there are several ladies here who are fans of this one too!

Yes, I was sad when Boone died :(

I watched the first 3 or 4 seasons before I gave up. It was too complicated and drawn out for me. I like 'light' TV. I want to watch it to get my mind off of things not have to be focused on trying to figure everything out. My husband went on to finish the series and he keeps asking me if I want to watch it on Netflix but I have no desire to even hear how it ended. I think they did a disservice for the show in dragging everything out the way they did. I liked it at first though, I really did. It just kept getting deeper and crazier and I didn't have the energy to keep up with it. That might have been it more than anything, I didn't have the energy. I was going through medical issues during that time and was literally exhausted and trying to mentally focus on it made me all the more tired.

I'm with Nikki on this.

yes - i'm with nikki too ... i loved it sooooo much ... someday i will watch it all over again :) i am actually already excited :)

I broke up with it season 2..or maybe it was season 3...but DH got me back into it thankfully. I seriously loved that show. Loved Loved...

*swoon* Sawyer....

I stopped near the end of season 2 cause the crazy drawn-out stuff was killing me. Even back then, I said I'd wait for Netflix. LOL It's on my queue. We'll watch it eventually. Right now, I've got Jeff hooked on Desperate Housewives. ;)

I was an avid LOSTie. Loved the show, adored Sawyer (still do). Somewhere around Season 4, I discovered this hysterical blog with recaps of the show. The writer would post about an hour or so after the end of the episode and I would frantically refresh on my iPod until it was posted. The blog was called the Ack Attack (writer's name is Rachel Ack). She wasn't afraid of bad words, but I would usually have tears from laughing so hard. Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't watched the whole series!

You can check out her LOST recaps here:

She's now writing recaps for Mad Men, which I have never seen, so I can't speak to how good (or bad) they are. But if I had to bet, I'd bet they're pretty awesome.

Oh LOVE...one of my favorite shows. Luckily, like you, I didn't start watching until well into the series, so I think it was only the last season that I was watching in real time...yeah, it's a LONG week between episodes.

I started getting them through zip.ca and watched ALL the seasons last summer. I was obsessed! Seriously no way I could have waited between seasons in "real time"! Now I want to watch them all again.

This is me EXACTLY. I still don't know how it ended and really don't have a desire to know. Just got way too complicated for me.

I'm SO glad we waited until it was over to start watching!! I wish they would come out with something that could compare!

Hubby got the Wii connected tonight (doing the same thing I did about 6 times over) so now we can watch Netflix again! I was watching Lost when we didn't have cable back in May but haven't gotten back to it since.

Oh boy, now you are making me want to check it out! I have avoided the show too for some reason, mostly because I don't watch a lot of TV besides a few select shows. Now you've got me intrigued and I may have to check it out this weekend. I know that the last time I discovered a show I liked on Hulu, it wasn't pretty - I was watching tv for like 3 days straight LOL.
