Looking for quick way to compress pics

Hi. I'm trying to upload pictures to my gallery but can't get the file compression issue resolved.

Can anyone suggest tools or steps for compressing photos and PSDs? I use PSE v7.0.

Are you just trying to make a smaller copy of the file to upload to the gallery? If so, go to the File menu and select "Save for Web". On the dialog box that pops up, change the size to 500 x 500 pixels or 600 x 600 pixels (whatever one you prefer) and make sure it is a jpeg and the quality is high. Click OK and save it. Then you should be able to upload it.
