Looking for a template

I saw a super cute idea at a friend's wedding recently.
They were lamp shades on wineglasses with tealights in the glasses as table decor.
I was wondering if there's a digital template somewhere around here that I could use?
Has anyone else done these before?

Oh and has anyone ever printed on vellum? That's the obvious material I'd like to use if possible.
 
I have printed on vellum, for card inserts. I'd suggest letting them dry extra long if possible. That sounds like a super cute idea!
 
Seems like the template would need to vary for different diameter wine glasses, wouldn't it? I mean it would have some leeway and sit up higher or lower on the glass depending on size. Do you know what size (diameter of the top) glass you would be using?
 
Probably just standard wine glass. lol
I was thinking just going to the dollar store to buy a few glasses to try them out.
