Looking for a muse or a tweaker

I am working on a album of the last 30 years of family reunions. It isn't meant to me for me personally. It is to share all the family members. Some reunions have tons of photos, some have 5.

I love Janet Phillips templates and Dani Mogstad.

What I am looking for is a way to take the pages from Oh. to WoW!!
I dont want to over-power the photos but I think they many need some tweaking.

I am kinda ok with this set
1997 Page One

1997 Page 2

This set needs something???
1995 Page One

1995 Page Two

Thanks in advance for any help!

So great that you are getting these pages scrapped! I have 2 family reunions that I have yet to do. Mostly because they are still in prints and I need to scan...scan...scan... ugh!

I like the ones that you like and also the ones you are not so keen on. You made me chuckle because your latter two look just like most of my paper layouts! I think to boost the latter 2, maybe use a lighter background? Of, think about using a template like Penny's 2-pagers. I like to use XVII( https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=17442&cat=0&page=1 ) --it has room for a lot of pics and also room at the top for a nice border of layered embellishment. Also, look at VII which has more white space.

You can modify the size/shape to fit your pics, maybe even get rid of the text(title across the bottom) to make room for more pics and put the title across the top just above the border.

Good luck! I sooo need to do this too.

Thanks Robin for your advise. Looking at those templates gave me some ideas.

The more I look at the pages in the gallery~~I love the perspective I get from seeing pages in the gallery~~the more I think that I need to keep it simple. And maybe take off the stars. The less distraction from the photos the better. And maybe the less personal I make it the more personal it can be for the the other family members.......

Any other comments or advise would be appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!!
