Oh... she's so sweet ! I'm a nanny ! And I have 2 babies @home + my little girl ! Soooooo ! I love babies ♥

It's incredible to think that she tested positive for drugs when she was born. Unless something drastic happens, it looks like the parents are permanently out of the picture, so hopefully my friend can adopt her. I'm so attached I'd HATE to see her leave :(

It just amazes me and simultaneously sickens me to look into her beautiful eyes & realize there is a reason she is in the foster system... She is just adorable, how could anyone not want her? I hope your BFF will be able to adopt her if she wants & give her a loving home.

She has the most expressive and amazing eyes. Such a beauty!

My thoughts exactly. How anyone could hurt a child, any child, is beyond me. My friend fosters and she called me one day to watch a couple of her kids while she went to the hospital to spend time with a new baby that was being placed with her. The mother had walked out after delivery and left the baby alone in the room at the hospital, didn't even tell the nurses she was leaving. :( The baby went to grandparents after a few weeks but my friend was sure to give him lots of love while she had him.

Every time I tempted to think hateful thoughts I remember that we're all broken in our own ways, and drug addiction is a beast. It is hard to look into her face and realize why she is here... that something so beautiful and precious came out of such a hell hole. But she is rescued! And I pray that her parents might someday be rescued too.

Valerie you are so right and even though her mom and dad might not be fit parents, she will be a blessing for your friend or another family that will give her all of the love and attention she deserves :)

She is a beautiful blessing. Valerie what you said about being broken in our own ways is so true. I can be very exacting and my mother is always telling me that we can't understand the heartache of others and that not everyone is as strong as they need to be to change their situation. She is right. But children should never have to suffer because of it.
